Organized by Studio Legale Lauro, the fifth edition of Shipping and the Law was held in Naples on October the 8th. Participants include shipowners, as well as leaders from other sectors including bankers, charterers, underwriters and P&I Club managers, leading maritime lawyers and international shipping arbitrators.
The President of the Banco di Napoli, Maurizio Barracco also attended. Among the issues addressed in his speech: the importance of the maritime sector in the Italian economy and in the economy of Southern Italy in particular, the international competitiveness of our Country, the importance of the Mediterranean and the import-export trade that takes place by sea.
