The third issue of Maritime Indicators is now online. This half-yearly publication analyses maritime transport through a set of business (for instance import-export trade), economic, and infrastructural indicators.
The trend and absolute value of each indicator are provided, as well as its year-on-year percentage change. The set of statistical data is accompanied by a report and comments on trends in the semester. The aim is to provide constantly up-to-date information on the “sea”, in order to understand the dynamic and structure of the industry, which is by all means strategic for Italy’s economy.
