Lloyd’s List Annual Top 100 reveals the 100 most influential people in the world of shipping.

Among Italians, Emanuele Lauro, the chief executive of the Scorpio Group is at 9th place of the ranking. Last year, he vaulted into the Top 100 for the first time straight at n. 2 after Scorpio Group ratcheted up more newbuilding orders than anyone else in the dry bulk and tanker sectors. Emanuele and Gianluca Grimaldi make a formidable pair at 49th place. The brothers have featured regularly in Lloyd’s List Top 100, with entries in 2010, 2011, 2012 and 2013.
