SRM goes to Hong Kong for a new scientific mission to observe and analyze directly, as in its research style, the most interesting and different developments of the world Port  system in which find space for the new scenarios of our country’s maritime economy.

From Monday 20th to Friday 24th of November, a SRM delegation will be in Hong Kong to attend conferences and visits organized by the International Propeller Clubs.

SRM will participate to the visiting of the Port of Shenzen and its Special Economic Area scheduled for Wednesday, November 22nd, and to the two conferences named Ports and Shippers: Harbouring Smart Solutions and Mareforum: “The post -crisis perceptions and realities” that will take place respectively on Thursday 23rd and Friday 24th of November.

The goals of the mission are the meetings of the Italian Maritime cluster with local authorities and operators to explain the new Italian port scenario after the Port Reform and the visit to a successful ZES and the meetings with Shenzhen authorities, in view of the establishment of Special Economic Zones in Italy.

This is the 4th mission organized by the International Propeller Clubs, to which SRM participates, after visiting the port of Tanger Med in Morocco in 2015, the ports of Barcelona and Valencia in Spain in 2016 and the port of Piraeus in Greece last April.
