The International Propeller Club of the United States, International Port of Piraeus, organized a meeting of the Italian Maritime Cluster of the Propeller Clubs, in Athens, Greece, bringing together the Shipping University of Naples, the University of Genoa and Greek Shipping Universities, in a common Forum.

SRM attended the two days Forum that took place on Monday, April 24, 2017 at 10:00 at the MINOAN KNOSSOS Ship and end on Tuesday, April 25, 2017 at 12:30 at the “HELLAS LIB ERTY” Museum. This Scientific Mission permitted us to analyse more deeply the Greek maritime economy and the infrastructural aspects of the Piraeus Port.

The Forum discussed on: Port Matters and Shipping and Transportation.

Alessandro PANARO, Head of Maritime Dept. of SRM, gave a keynote speech on the 25th April during the Session “A smooth sea never made a skilled sailor. The challenges of the new maritime scenarios in the Mediterranean sea”.
