Members of the newly-formed Ocean Alliance have proposed their network and port rotation for 2017. COSCO Container Lines, CMA CGM, Evergreen Line and Orient Overseas Container Line on November 3 signed a document entitled the Day One Product, which sets out the proposed network, including port rotation for each service loop.
The Day One network intends to deploy around 350 container vessels with an estimated total carrying capacity of 3.5 million TEUs. Together, the partners will operate 40 services on the East-West trades with around 100 ports of call and almost 500 port pairs.
