NEWS: Grow the orderbook of new shipbuilding
World order book of the shipyards grew over 50 million CGT (compensated gross tonnes), with an increase very high compared with 24.7 million CGT in 2012.

China, Korea and Japan still hold the leading position as major shipbuilding countries. Together they built 86% of the total tonnage placed on the market in 2013, while Europe only held 5% of the market. However, shipbuilding in the Old continent has retained its leadership in high value added productions namely cruise ships and ferries, which account for most of its order book.
