The Kühne Logistics University of Hamburg has hosted an international symposium on ”The Belt & Road Initiative and its Impact on Global Logistics“, on Friday, November 23, 2018.
The symposium has organised in occasion of the inauguration of the new Hapag-Lloyd Center for Shipping & Global Logistics (CSGL) at the Kühne Logistics University. The CSGL is a new initiative devoted to the advancement of academic research in the area of shipping and global logistics and it is being made possible by the generous support of the leading Hamburg-based liner-shipping firm, Hapag-Lloyd AG.
SRM was among the speakers. Olimpia Ferrara, Coordinator Maritime Observatory of SRM, has presented a paper titled: “The Belt & Road Initiative: Implications for Global Supply Chains …in the Mediterranean Area”.
