9 italian container terminal were included in the worldwide network of scheduled services operated by the new Hapag-Lloyd, the company formed by the merger of the activities of the German company Hapag-Lloyd and the Chilean Compañía Sud Americana de Vapores (CSAV), which has become the fourth shipping company for fleet capacity.
The port of Genoa is climbed by nine of the services offered by Hapag-Lloyd / CSAV. The port of Livorno follows by number of touch, because it is included in eight lines and the port of Cagliari appeares in six services. Two services of the new company arrive to Salerno, while the ports of Ancona, Gioia Tauro, Naples, Savona / Vado Ligure and Venice are touched by a single service.
