Cosco invests 230 million euros in Piraeus
The governing board of the Port of Piraeus approved the text of the new agreement for the construction of the western part of the Pier 3 in the greek port. The agreement provides that the Piraeus Container Terminal (PCT), fully controlled by the chinese Cosco, manager of container traffic at Pier II, is committed to invest 230 million euros for the development of the third pier, increasing from 3.7 million to 6.2 million TEUs per year the capacity of the port.
