The latest Statistical Bulletin published by the Central Tyrrhenian Sea Port Authority System confirms the good performance of the ports of Naples, Salerno and Castellammare di Stabia in the first 6 months of 2017.

In detail, container traffic recorded an increase of 10.5%.

The Motorways of the Sea market, which outlines an intensification of intermodal solutions in our country, sees Campania, and in particular the Port of Salerno, playing a prominent role. The increase in the number of Ro-Ro units in the Port of Salerno is of 32.3%.

Liquid bulk traffic, focused on the port of Naples, increased overall in the first half of 2.1%.

In cruise traffic, the declining trend in volumes is confirmed. The first six months of 2017 closed for Port System Authority with a fall of 28.45%.

Passenger traffic shows an increase of 10.1% over the previous year.
