In the first eleven months of 2014, the Apulian port handled a total of 25.8 million tons, an increase of +0.6% for the period from January to November of the 2013.
The imported goods amounted to 15.1 million tons (-1.9%) and those in exports to 10.6 million tonnes (+4.5%). The dry bulk amounted to over 14.8 million tons (-0.3%) and the liquid bulk to 3.7 million tons (-3.5%).
The cargo totaled 7.2 million tons (+ 5.0%), of which 1.7 million tonnes of containerized cargo (+6.6%) totaled with a container handling of 148mila TEUs (-19.7%) and 5.5 million tonnes of other cargo (+4.5%).
