“Strategies for Growth: Innovation, Efficiency, Sustainability in Transport” is the 2014 Annual Conference of the Italian Association of Transport Economics and Logistics (SIET), which will be held in Florence. It will focus on the possible ways out of the actual economic crisis, analyzing the link between investments, transport and sustainable growth. The aim of the conference is to discuss, in an interdisciplinary context, the latest research developments concerning the relationships between transport and the economic systems, with a special focus on innovation and efficiency issues. Transport, industrial and regional economists, transport engineers, geographers, key representatives of public bodies, agencies and companies are invited to participate and share their opinions and research results.

The abstract should indicate title, author(s), affiliations, corresponding contact, pertaining topic of the conference, JEL classification and three keywords. Abstracts should state clearly the research question, the methodology, the main results and references.
